I can't wait to see your finished shirt but I have to say I like the burda style more than the anthropologie style. I think I might like it more because the burda is so bold! again, can't wait to see what you make!

Re: http://thisisemilykate.blogspot.com/2009/06/another-anthropologie-inspiration.html

Hi Emily Kate,
I recently discovered your blog and I really enjoy it. I've nominated you for a 'lovely blog' award. You can pick it up at my blog - www.josiesews.blogspot.com.
Cheers
Josie

Re: http://thisisemilykate.blogspot.com/2009/06/another-anthropologie-inspiration.html

good pattern choice - i've used it twice and it makes up really well. good luck!

Re: http://thisisemilykate.blogspot.com/2009/06/another-anthropologie-inspiration.html

Love the new header. Tres chic.

Re: http://thisisemilykate.blogspot.com/2009/06/another-anthropologie-inspiration.html

This Anthropologie top is cool! I wonder if Anthropologie (love the store, too, I take photos of their displays whenever I take a peek) also gets ideas from other designers? The pattern reminds me of a beaded floral dress and jacket from Nanette Lepore. I'm looking forward to see what you do.

Re: http://thisisemilykate.blogspot.com/2009/06/another-anthropologie-inspiration.html

I look forward to seeing your version of this top - the inspiration top is really cute!

I often want to sew things inappropriate to the season I'm in. I find bloggers, like you, on the opposite side of the world to me, post their latest creation and I want one too. A wool coat in high summer? Why not?

Re: http://thisisemilykate.blogspot.com/2009/06/another-anthropologie-inspiration.html

I wonder if Anthropologie knows that they are constantly inspiring sewers. I like the BWOF photo too. I sometimes get a desire to be in the opposite season. In the winter I dream about tropical beaches and in the summer I just want to be in an alpine forest. Sometimes my sewing moves along too slow and I have to wait for the next season in order to wear my clothes. Looking forward to seeing your blouse, seems like a great project.
